submission for all gendered bathrooms
Alison Cox is currently preparing a submission to the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) to request changes to the NCC 2025 to include provision for all-gender bathrooms as acceptable under the NCC.
We at Access studio support the provision of all-gender bathrooms under the National Construction Code 2025.
Updated energy efficiency
NCC 2022 adopted by states and territories on 1st May 2023. Victoria has extended the transitional arrangements for the following provisions:
1 May 2024 – New living housing requirements.
1 May 2024 – Updated energy efficiency and condensation mitigation requirements. As previously announced, new lead- free plumbing product requirements will commence on 1 May 2026
